This "audio musical" tells Part I of the fairytale "Rumpelstiltskin." A miller tells the king that his daughter can spin straw into the finest gold, which in reality she cannot do. When the king orders her to spin straw to gold at the cost of her life, she loses all hope...until a mysterious little man appears.
